WHAT UTOPIANS DO

We are building a better world for music with innovative big data technology that tracks online music sources and translates them into meaningful music consumption reports for royalty collection. The solution we’re building does not threaten to usurp the role of industry incumbents - it is about bringing transparency in the industry and supporting efficient royalty collection.

WHAT YOUR ROLE LOOKS LIKE

Customer Solutions Engineer is a critical role in Customer Operations ensuring successful completion of the customer project and customer success and satisfaction.

You work closely with our customer operations team, account management, product and engineering teams to provide technical product knowledge and support during the whole customer lifecycle. You are a trusted advisor for both internal and external stakeholders and own all of the technical aspects from sales to delivery and making our customers successful and growing. During customer projects and the whole customer lifecycle, you work closely with the technical project manager and project team. You provide technical product presentations and expertise during the sales phase, planning and development of the integration components, completing deployment of the product and ensuring successful use of the product - this is owning the end to end delivery of all technical aspects during the customer lifecycle.

Internally, you are developing and improving our capabilities and working practises by implementing tools for internal and customer use, developing automation and building services to enable smooth onboarding, use and support for our products. You are providing valuable input for our product and engineering teams and can join on building prototypes and new product features for customer use

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Planning and completing technical tasks in Utopia customer projects, integrations, customisations.
  • Solving technical problems and challenges to make our customers successful.
  • Working with data onboarding, queries and reporting.
  • Increasing our efficiency by building automation, tools and scripts.
  • Supporting customer facing people and teams with technical competence.

BEING SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION REQUIRES 

  • 3-6 years experience working technical roles in customer facing projects
  • Technical skills and competence with programming languages (for example Python, Golang, Node.js, React), data mapping technologies, and SQL.
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience in the music industry is a benefit
  • Opportunity to travel and work closely with customers in US, Europe and also other parts of the world
