WHAT UTOPIANS DO

We are building a better world for music with innovative big data technology that tracks online music sources and translates them into meaningful music consumption reports for royalty collection. The solution we’re building does not threaten to usurp the role of industry incumbents - it is about bringing transparency in the industry and supporting efficient royalty collection. 

WHAT YOUR ROLE WILL BE

We’re now looking for an outstanding Office Host Manager to join our team in Zug. 

As Office Host Manager, you’ll play a critical role in the daily life of all your colleagues, ensuring our offices are every bit as exciting as we are as a company and run as smoothly as a proverbial Swiss watch without being stiff and boring. You need to bring passion, ownership and unparalleled attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for the operations of our Headquarter in Zug, and the offices in Stockholm and Helsinki. The Office Hosts in Stockholm and Helsinki will be reporting to this position.

  • Welcoming visitors and visiting team members from our other offices
  • Curating and executing office events, exhibitions and catering in cooperation with the PA’s
  • Organizing and maintaining food, beverages and other supplies for the office kitchen
  • Providing concierge services for visitors and visiting team members
  • Maintaining and organising office supplies
  • Incoming and outgoing mail and courier services
  • Set up for internal and external meetings
  • General office management

THE IDEAL SKILLSET

  • You are highly organized and recognize yourself as being an admin genius, yet you are also bringing out your inner superhero when it comes to vibes, passion and culture 
  • You are highly proactive and are always taking the initiative to make things happen
  • You exhibit curiosity, proactively solve problems, and always get things done with a positive attitude 
  • You are a skilled relationship builder with high integrity 
  • You are a great teammate and pitch in to help wherever you are needed
  • You are fluent in both written and spoken in English and German. Knowledge in additional languages is a plus!
  • Ideally you have a degree in hospitality with previous experiences in the Front Office Department within a hotel 
  • Experience within catering is also an advantage 
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities are essentials
  • The ideal candidate will be customer focused, driven with an extremely proactive and ‘switched on’ personality and an outgoing, charismatic and approachable character
  • You are passionate and with a positive, flexible ‘can do attitude’ who’s hands-on and leads as well as supports his team by example and thrives in working with a multicultural team and visitors alike

  • We are supporting work permits for employees that moved here from countries outside the EU. However, we do not support relocation at the moment. We are only hiring in Switzerland for this position.

Do you like to work in teams with a lot of individual responsibility? Yes, we know it sound cliché but this is also how it actually is.

Every morning after breakfast we gather in our teams to plan the day, assign tasks to kickstart the days. Agile, fast and inventive is how we like it. That also gives us room to pair up or hold a workshop if we need help in finding the best solution. 

A helping hand and a good coffee might just be what we need to get things done.
