Music is incredible. It can excite hundreds, and unite thousands. But as an industry, it has been slow, complicated, and disparate. While the tech world has moved into the future, the music industry continues to be shaped by inefficient systems of the past. At Utopia we believe there is a better way. Which is why today we are setting out to transform the entire industry; creating new revenue streams, consolidating the data and decluttering the admin. Unlocking the industry’s full potential by unifying it all in one truly holistic space. Some might call that a Utopia.

Funnily enough, so do we. Welcome to Utopia. Where music lives.

We are building a better world for music with innovative big data technology that tracks online music sources and translates them into meaningful music consumption reports for royalty collection. The solution we’re building does not threaten to usurp the role of industry incumbents - it is about bringing transparency in the industry and supporting efficient royalty collection.

As a Principal TPM in this team you will shape and lead initiatives to ensure Utopia Music’s analytics is served by world class platforms, tooling and technology. You will seek out and refine requirements and dependencies from stakeholders – consensus-building and helping to conceive and articulate analytics tooling solutions and ensure alignment with senior executives. Enabling cross team and cross discipline collaboration will be critical to success in this role

The successful candidate will be obsessed with solving complex problems and passionate about the potential of analytics – from BI to Data Science – to drive a business forward; and will relish the prospect of driving forward Utopia Music's Analytics to the next level.

Perks & Benefits

If you are not yet convinced by our awesome team and great atmosphere — here you have some extra frosting on the cake.

  • 🏋️‍♀️ Active work space

At the Stockholm office we have a ping pong table and a gym in the basement and people are encouraged to use them both. We also have a generous wellness grant for anyone who prefer to do other things.

  • ☕️ Breakfast every morning

Every morning we gather around the bar for breakfast. It is of course voluntary but the coffee is great.

  • 👾 A bunch of nerds

We love what we do and we do what we love. So there will be a lot of interesting discussions going on about pretty much anything connected to music or tech and a lot of Star Wars references to acompany those.

  • 🏰 A little here and a little there

We love to work together. Where exactly that is at the moment is less important.

Work @ Utopia

Do you like to work in teams with a lot of individual responsibility? Yes, we know it sound cliché but this is also how it actually is.

Every morning after breakfast we gather in our teams to plan the day, assign tasks to kickstart the days. Agile, fast and inventive is how we like it. That also gives us room to pair up or hold a workshop if we need help in finding the best solution.

A helping hand and a good coffee might just be what we need to get things done.
