WHAT UTOPIANS DO
The open secret is that the music industry is struggling with the very basics of music accounting: What was played, when and where? Who should get paid and how much?
Utopia Music is bridging the data gap by connecting global consumption, accurate metadata, and fast payments to an industry-wide trust platform. Our goal is to unlock creative value and enable Fair Pay For Every Play to make a better world for Music. The solutions we offer do not threaten to usurp the role of industry incumbents - it is about bringing transparency in the industry and supporting efficient royalty collection for all.
THE ROLE
As a DevSecOps Engineer you’re part of the Engineering organization in the Infra team focusing on security in DevOps and site reliability. In this role, you build tools and automate systems to improve security of our infrastructure. You play a critical role in providing technical support to the engineering teams for security tool integration, security operations and cyber security awareness.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure smooth and secure deployment of the product updates
- Build and maintain CI/CD tools together with DevOps, site reliability and software engineers with focus on security
- Support engineering teams with
- Integrations with security infra and tools
- Security requirements, designs and validation
- Cyber security awareness
- Operating the systems including monitoring, alerting and troubleshooting
- Organizing and running periodical penetration tests and code analysis to avoid vulnerabilities
- Build necessary integrations to support new and evolving software products and customer needs
- Research new technologies, automation tools and system to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Documentation of infrastructure tools and services
REQUIREMENTS
- At least three years of experience as DevSecOps engineer or similar role
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar proven skills
- Good general knowledge of cyber security and related tools and technologies
- Good knowledge of Linux, Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience working with the major cloud providers, especially Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible and/or Saltstack
- Programming experience preferably with Golang, Python or Node.js
- Fluency in English
